I was completely happy with my 60 rank, 3 manual digital organ,
before I added to it a Hauptwerk Virtual Organ system.  Now I am completely
pleased, surprised and even delighted with the new dimensions the Hauptwerk [sound  ed.] adds to my existing instrument.  There are aspects to the sounds
of the pipe organ that go beyond easy descriptions and explanations,
but the Hauptwerk system provides those things.   I didn't
know that my organ was lacking anything until I added the Hauptwerk,
and while my original organ is a fine instrument, it sounds shockingly
even more realistic now.  The pipes of the Hauptwerk sound like they're
further back in the chambers and produce an almost 3-D kind of
element to the sounds.

If my organ needed anything  before the addition of  the Hauptwerk,
it was that very brilliant upperwork of a baroque instrument,
which by adding only those few stops of the free Pribb Postiv Orgel, gives
my organ that brilliance, and obviates the need of my adding
a windchest and three ranks of winded pipes I had planned to invest in.
The free Schantz 3-manual has trumpets any organist would love to use.
And I haven't even purchased any of the pipe sets yet of the 100+  larger
instruments offered.

I would not have been able to get the system functioning without the help
of Thomas of Organtechnology.  I'm not a techie, but Thomas
is always there to be my geek and explain things.  He installed the
entire system for a very reasonable price (especially compared with
what the three ranks of pipes would have cost me!) and  continues
to provide assistance when I encounter something new.  There's a lot
to this system, and the sound you end up with is most satisfying and worth it!
